Cooling circulating water system of PTA
The object of technology improvement is the cooling circulating water system of the first phase of the 1,200,000t PTA, divided into the high area and lower area to be subject to separate water supply. The circulating water is mainly used for heat exchange and cooling of the air compressor, turbine condenser, oxidation device, refining device, etc. Four 1,800kW circulating water pumps (three in service and one for standby) and one 900kW circulating water pump are used in the high area. Five 1,400kW circulating water pumps (three in service and two for standby) are used in the low area. After system optimization and adjustment, four high-efficiency pumps are used in the high area, and five in the low area. The operating mode in the high area is kept unchanged before and after technology improvement. In the low area, the operating mode is kept unchanged in nine months, and one pump will be switched to the small impeller operating mode in winter. According to the acceptance results, 23,233,000KWH power can be saved annually.
