Circulating water system of ferroalloy device
The object of technology improvement is the cooling circulating water system of the 170,000t/a ferroalloy (120,000t/a of ferrosilicon of 75% and 50,000t/a of chrome products). The cooling water is mainly used for cooling of electric furnace equipment. Four 160kW pumps are used, two in service and two for standby. After system optimization and adjustment, four high-efficiency pumps are used, and the operating mode is unchanged. According to the acceptance results, 460,000KWH power can be saved annually.
