Cooling circulating water system for electric furnace/refining furnace
The object of technology improvement is the cooling circulating water system (also known as four pumping stations) of the 50t electric furnace and LF/VD refining furnace. The system is divided into two separate subsystems. The clean circulating water system is mainly used for heat exchange and cooling of the 50t electric furnace and refining furnace body as well as ancillary equipment such as transformers, including two 460kW pumps for clean circulating water and two 315kW pumps for upper tower water, one in service and one for standby respectively. The vacuum pump type cooling circulating water system is mainly used for condensation of steam sprayed from the refining furnace to the vacuum pump system, including two 155kW pumps for circulating water and two 55kW pumps for upper tower water, one in service and one for standby respectively. After system optimization and adjustment, four high-efficiency pumps (with the standby pumps unchanged) are used, and the operating mode is unchanged. According to the acceptance results, 2,692,800KWH power can be saved annually.
