Cooling circulating water system of caustic soda chloride product device

The objects of technology improvement are the 3MC (80,000t/a polychlorinated methane) and 4MC (120,000t/a methane chloride) cooling circulating water system. The cooling water is mainly used for heat exchange and cooling of the air compressor, freezer, freezing dryer and various heat exchangers in the device area. The 3MC system is equipped with four 900kW pumps, while the 4MC system with four 630kW pumps, three in service and one for standby respectively. After system optimization and adjustment, eight high-efficiency pumps are used, and the operating mode is unchanged. According to the acceptance results, 1,571,000KWH power can be saved annually by the two systems.
