Cooling circulating water system of PET device

The object of technology improvement is the cooling circulating water system of the eastern pumping station of the 185,000t/a PET device. The cooling water is mainly used for heat exchange and cooling of freezers, air compressors and various heat exchange devices of polyester process. Two 460kW and one 380kW pumps are used in the original system and operated according to load changes. After system optimization and adjustment, three high-efficiency pumps (two large pumps and one small pump) are installed and operated in the same way as that of the original system. According to the acceptance results, 1,811,500KWH power can be saved annually.
