Cooling circulating water system of catalytic cracking unit

The object of technology improvement is the cooling circulating water system (7 cycles) of the 800,000t/a catalytic cracking unit. The cooling water is mainly used for distillation and cooling of top gas, naphtha, light diesel oil, recycled oil, oil slurry and other components. Three 780kW pumps are used, two in service and one for standby. After system optimization and adjustment, three high-efficiency pumps (two large pumps and one small pump) are installed and used according to load changes. According to the acceptance results, 3,950,000KWH power can be saved annually.
